This baigan bharta is my favorite out of anywhere i've ever had it! It is so smoky and smooth. The samosas are always amazing quality and a great amount. Definitely the best indian food in davis

Absolutely, consistently delicious! I get takeout from here more often than I go in. And I get the Rajasthan's Favorite curry, with lamb, extra spicy. Man it hits all the spots. And get your curry or tikka "thali" style! Mini soup and side if gorgeous vegies. Keep. It. Up!

Ordered some chicken biryani rice from here not too long ago and my goodness was it delicious!! My friend and I devoured the rice and garlic naan within seconds. Service was pretty fast as our delivery came earlier than expected. The price is also something you can't compete with! Overall a W in my books.

Music is bumping, food is bumping, and portions are bumping up my tummy. Come ready to be full of a beautiful and complex blend of indian spices, perfectly charred meat, and fluffy rice. Its like beyond seasoning, it reminds us how Indian cuisine is one of the highest forms of eating you can enjoy. That's my boyfriend waving his finger because he was happy he got the last chicken momo.

Nectar of the God's. I mean it. It's was so delicious that I was certain that my next dish would come flying to me in a Vimāna! OMG! I could eat this most days, and by most days, I mean every day. We sat outside because it was not only beautiful, but because inside smelled a bit too much of harsh disinfectant... which is kinda good, and kinda not. The service was good. Not amazing or anything of note, but nothing bad, and the service professional managed to get the job done without being overly obvious. By this very standard, the service could be considered, by some, as excellent and by others as poor. I managed to notice him at some times, and at others, he was ghostlike. Personally, I find this mixture to be just right. No photos. I gobbled it right up before I could snap a Pic. Perhaps later when I order again tonight! He he he...

I was initially off put by the location and lack of people inside the restaurant, but this hole in the wall spot deserves more recognition! The portions were huge and the sauces had a ton of flavor. NEPALI SAMOSAS: 4.5/5 The filling for these was delicious and seasoned with the right amount of spices! The green chutney was my favorite and added a surprisingly spicy yet fresh kick to the somosas. The pastry reminds me of empanadas, so I would definitely try the vegetable samosas next time I prefer flaky samosas. Nonetheless, these were still amazing. CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA PLATE W/ TRADITIONAL THALI: 3.75/5 This was perfect to share between 2 people, and we were left super stuffed. It came with basmati rice, 4 pieces of naan, raita (white yogurt sauce), cucumbers and spring mix, dal (mashed peas, carrots and potatoes), and the veggie curry of the day. The sauce of the tikka masala was rich and creamy. I do wish the tikka masala had a bit more flavor with the spices, as it tasted a little mild. I even added the green chutney into the dal, and it was delicious. I didn't quite care for the rice, raita, or the veggie curry of the day though. I also would've preferred the naan to be flakier, but it still tasted great.
